On October 29, 2025, in Yokohama, Japan, the ISUZU World Technical Competition (I-1GP 2025) and the ISUZU Global Aftersales Award took place, honoring ISUZU distributors from around the world.
The I-1GP 2025 brought together the best ISUZU teams from 37 countries to compete in the Commercial Vehicle category. Representing Vietnam, the ISUZU Vietnam team consisted of two technicians from the ISUZU Thang Long dealer, who were selected from the ISUZU Skill Contest, which was organized in July 2025.

ISUZU Vietnam proudly receives the Triple-Star Aftersales Award for the fourth consecutive year
As part of the I-1GP competition framework, the ISUZU Global Aftersales Award is a program that recognizes and honors distributors who meet ISUZU’s high standards for service quality and operational excellence. Evaluation criteria include the effectiveness of service programs, customer support programs, aftersales results, and service development activities across the dealer network.
In 2025, with a diverse and professional range of aftersales activities, ISUZU Vietnam achieved the highest global score and was once again honored with the Triple-Star Aftersales Award – marking the fourth consecutive year of maintaining this outstanding achievement. This reaffirms our continuous efforts to enhance service quality, staying true to the philosophy of being a “Value Provider” – supporting customers’ business operations by ensuring their vehicles always run efficiently, maximizing vehicle uptime.

ISUZU Vietnam ranks in the Top 5 at the I-1GP 2025
The I-1GP Competition is an international event, gathering many ISUZU skilled technicians from around the world. Participants competed in two main rounds: Technical Knowledge and Practical Skills.
A highlight of the competition was the Virtual Failure Diagnosis round, where contestants demonstrated their technical expertise and diagnostic abilities through a virtual simulation environment. In this challenge, each team member was required not only to diagnose and repair faults accurately and quickly, but also to ensure repair quality and occupational safety — reflecting ISUZU’s global standards of professionalism and precision.

After two days of intense and determined competition, the ISUZU Vietnam team has excellently surpassed teams from all over the world, achieved the Top 5 in the Team category and Top 10 in the Individual category at the I-1GP 2025 competition. This impressive achievement is not only a source of pride for ISUZU Vietnam but also affirms the serious investment in developing a technical team through a well-structured, professional, and passionate training process.
